Eugene "Fred" Frederick Hall, Jr., 69, entered into rest November 29, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home-Riggins Road Chapel (850-877-8191). The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seawolves Assoc., c/o 18350 SW Florendo Lane, Beaverton, OR 97007,or the Pancreatic Cancer Awareness, P.O. Box 14906, Minneapolis, MN 55414. Fred was born in Danville, Virginia, and had lived in Tallahassee since 1976. After twenty-two years of service, which included three tours during the Vietnam War, he retired as a U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer. Following his military career Fred began his second career and was employed by Aubrey's Pest Control. He was a member of the VFW and the Seawolf Association. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Linda Hall; one son, Eugene "Fred" Frederick Hall, III; one daughter, Heather (Jay) Matthews; four grandchildren, Tanner Matthews, Taylor Hall, Dalton Hall, and Madison Hall; one brother, Wardie "Stretch" (Marge) Stretch; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in law, nieces and nephews.
