GREENSBORO -- Mrs. Evelyn Moran Angel, 89, of Pisgah Church Rd., died Saturday, November 6, 1999 at Wesley-Long Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 9, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Angel had been a member of Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church since 1943, she was also a member of the Missionary Society, the Loyal Workers Sunday School Class, and the Eastern Star Chapter 14. She was retired from Belk Department Store after 30 years of service in the alterations department. Mrs. Angel was predeceased by her husband, Roy Angel; and brother, J.H. Morgan. Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Ernestine and Charles Beal of Greensboro, Maxine and Tommy Cole of High Point, Melvine and Snow Adams of Asheville, and Rebecca and Chuck Ernest of Greensboro; brothers, Lonnie Morgan of Winston-Salem and Eugene Morgan of Walnut Cove; eight grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday evening at Hanes-Linebery Funeral Home, N. Elm Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church, Cemetery Fund, 2600 Pisgah Church Rd., Greensboro, N.C. 27455.
