Funeral Services Held for Leo Carmack Clark
Funeral Services for Leo Carmack Clark, age 74, of the Willette Community were held Monday afternoon, December 17 at the Alexander Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs. Services were conducted by Keith Clark, assisted by Tim Long, with Burial in the Smith Chapel Cemetery,
Mr. Clark died suddenly Friday afternoon of an apparent heart attack.
He was a native of Jackson County, son of the late Bailey P. Clark and Martha Ray Clark. He was married to the former Nell Parkhurst, who survives.
He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a retired mail clerk. He was a past master of the Edgefield Masonic Lodge 254 F. and AM in Nashville.
A son, Sammie Clark, preceded him in death in August, 1978.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Arlis Fay Clark of Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and Neil Clark of Hendersonville; 1 daughter Nancy Foster of Nashville; 1 brother Hobart Clark, Red Boiling Springs; 3 sisters May Carter, Knoxville, Exie Wilmore, Gainesboro, and Lucille Weems, Greenville, Tenn., 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
