Joshua Blake Swick, 12, of Scherr, W.Va., died Tuesday, August 16, 2005, as a result of an automobile accident.

Josh was born April 26, 1993, in Petersburg, W.Va. He would have been in the 6th grade at Maysville Elementary School. He liked to hunt, fish and ride his four-wheeler. He also enjoyed going to go-cart races and playing PlayStation with his friends.

He was preceded in death by one cousin, David "Grant" Riggleman.

He is survived by his loving parents, Chuck Swick and Angula (Keplinger) Swick of Scherr, W.Va., and mother, Maria (Rotruck) Swick of Maysville; two brothers, Logan Reel and Tyler Wayne Swick; and one sister, Sierra Nicole Swick.

Also surviving are his grandparents, Wayne and Estalene Swick of Dorcas, W.Va., David and Doris Shreve of Scherr, Ron and Mary Keplinger of Maysville, Norman Rotruck of Maysville, and Beverly and Roger Miller of Maysville; great-parents Maywood Shreve Dolly of Scherr and Lorraine Keplinger of Keyser, W.Va.; aunts and uncles, David and Robin Riggleman of Maysville, Cindy and Russ Brennan of Dorcas, Rick and Judy Riggleman of Bunker Hill, W.Va., Dale Rotruck of Maysville, and Paul Keplinger of Boston, Mass.; and cousins, Daphne Riggleman, Russell and Jeffrey Brennan, and Jessica and Ricky Riggleman of Romney, W.Va.
