Obituary 'Springfield Union' 21 Mar 1971: "Aime J. Manegre, 65, of 29 Granville St., Springfield, died Friday in Springfield Hosptial Medical Center. Born in Ware, Sept 10, 1905, son of the late Arthur and Mathilda (Beauregard) Manegre, he had lived in Springfield 55 years. He was employed as a carpenter for various building contractors and was a member of Carpenters Union Local No. 32. He was a communicant of Holy Family Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary (Acconcio) Manegre; four sons, Richard A. of Ludlow, William E. of Hampden, Robert F. of Houston, Tex., and Kenneth R. with the US Navy in Hawaii; a daughter, Mrs. Judith Josendahl of Shabbona, Ill.; three brothers Frederick, William and Henry, all of Springfield, and a sister, Mrs. Silvia Manerite of Springfield. The funeral will be Tuesday morning at St. Pierre and Sons Funeral home, State Street, with a liturgy of Christian burial in Holy Family Church. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery."
