Cunningham-Griffith

Curtis Cunningham, of Robinson, and Miss Douogolph [Dorinda - ed.] Griffith, of Bolivar, were married in Wilmerding on Thursday, January 19, by the Rev. Uber, pastor of the Lutheran church there and an old friend of Mr. Cunningham's. A wedding dinner and reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Griffith, of West Bolivar, later. The bride was prominent socially in Bolivar and is a graduate of the high school at that place. Mr. Cunningham has been employed for a number of years by the Pennsylvania Railroad Co. at Derry. They will make their home in Robinson.

CUNNINGHAM--Curtis H., 70, Robinson, died May 8, 1952, in Mercy Hospital. Born April 2, 1882, in West Wheatfield Township, son of James and Agnes (Robinson) Cunningham. Survived by widow, former Dorinda Griffith, and son, Robert E., at home. Son, Charles W., died in service of his country in World War II in 1945. Also survived by one grandchild and two brothers--William H., Butler, and Dwight B., Wilkinsburg. Retired car inspector of Pennsylvania Railroad, serving company for 40 years. Also life member of Lodge 612, F & AM, Pittsburgh, Shrine and Consistory since 1917. Friends received in late residence. Service at 2 p.m. Sunday in Lutheran Church, Robinson, Rev. E.H. Daugherty. Interment, Blairsville Cemetery. Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in late residence. R.S. Wagner Funeral Home.
