Opal Cullins Kirkpatrick also known as O.C. was the fourth son of Andrew Jackson Kirkpatrick and Ida Maud Cullins. He met his wife, Lillian May Adkins in Wetumka, Hughes Co., OK and married her on 09 Dec 1922 in Holdenville, Hughes Co., OK. To this union were born 5 children 1) Evelyn Lorene 2) Donald Ray 3) Patricia Ann 4) Charles Cullins and 5) Mary Jane Kirkpatrick. Opal worked in the Wanette Lumberyard for several years and then later at his own Produce Store in the town of Wanette, Pottawatomie Co., OK. He enjoyed sports and fishing. He died with a heart attack close to his home while fishing.

Services for Opal Cullins KIRKPATRICK, 49, Wanette will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Wanette Baptist Church.
Rev. Bill WALL, Pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in Wanette Cemetary.
KIRKPATRICK, a resident of Wanette community for the last 22 years, died Sunday morning after suffering a heart attack.
Survivors are his wife, Lillian May (Adkins) Kirkpatrick, of the home, two sons, Donald, a member of the U.S. Marines Corp. at Jacksonville, Fla., and Charles of the home, three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn COULTER, Oklahoma City, Mrs. Patricia CANNON, Wichita Falls, TX, and Mary Jane KIRKPATRICK, of the home.
