Mrs. Rebecca J. Griffin, wife of George Griffin, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Baer, one and a half miles southwest of Conroe. She was a victim of tuberculosis. Mrs. Griffin was born near South Raub, May 2, 1847, and her entire life was spent in this county. Her maiden name was Rebecca Jane Martin and she leaves beside the husband four children. Mrs. Griffin was a member of the United Brethren church and was a true Christian. The funeral will be held from the Conroe church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. George H. Trinkle will officiate and the burial will be in the Conroe cemetery.
