"Billy Winfield Brawdy, 61, of 203 Betsy Ross Lane, Liberty, died Saturday at the Liberty Hospital. He was born in Oklahoma City and had lived in this area 33 years. Mr. Brawdy was a chief engineer for the Puritan-Bennett Corp. He was a member of the King of Kings Lutheran Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Colleen Brawdy of the home; a son, Army Sgt. Edward Eugene Brawdy in Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Lynne Marek of Sugar Creek and Miss Pamela Sue Brawdy of the home; and five grand-children. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church; burial in White Chapel Cemetery." The Kansas City Times, January 29, 1985
