Stone is almost completely illegible, can only make out husband's name (T. P. Adams), and her date of death.

A short death announcement, copied from Heckethorn, Paul Keith, compiler and editor, Genealogical excerpts from the Presbyterian Advocate, Oct. 4, 1838-Oct. 24, 1855, (Apollo, Pennsylvania : Closson Press, c1999), pg 15, from the May 13, 1840 issue:

"Died on May first after a short illness, Mrs. Eliza Ann, consort of Thomas P. Adams of St Clair Township, Allegheny County, PA."Daughter of Thomas Larimer and Nancy (Means) Larimer,

Per records of Bethel Presbyterian Church:
"Died May 1st 1840, Mrs. Lilizanne (sic.) Adams (formerly Larimer), wife of Mr. Thomas P. Adams - she died suddenly of chorea brought on by false pasteurization and medical mismanagement. As a member of the church, her life and conduct were consistent, and it is hopeful that she died in Jesus."
