WILLIS LEE DAWLEY
Willis Lee Dawley, 79, Rainsville, was dead on arrival at Community Hospital at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday. He had been in ill health for the past week.
Mr. Dawley was born in Newburg, Missouri November 9, 1900, the son of Arthur and Minnie Dawley.
He moved to Rainsville as a small boy and then lived in Rockville. He attended the Rainsville School. He moved back to Rainsville in 1966.
Mr. Dawley was a licensed practical nurse and worked at the Indiana State Hospital for chest disease for several years.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Oxford.
Mr. Dawley, who never married, is survived by an aunt and several cousins.
Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of services. Services were held at the St. Patrick's Church in Oxford with the Rev. Fred Gschwind officiating. Burial in Rainsville Cemetery.
