Mrs. Lee, a retired school teacher and librarian, died Wednesday at Colleton Medical Center. Born in Charleston, April 11, 1907, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Porter Clarke and Adelaide Hagood Clarke. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the S.C. Retired Teachers Association and a former member of the Tea and Topics Club. She attended Chicora College and was a graduate of Winthrop College. She was the widow of Pinkney Lee.
Surviving are her daughter, Dr. Ann Adele Lee of Aiken; granddaughters, Dr. Crista Green of Savannah, Melanie Lee Mathewson of Charleston; four great-grandchildren.
