Albert Gale Atkins II, age 56, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1997 at his home in Atkins. He was preceded in death by his father, Gale A. Atkins.
He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Atkins of Atkins; three sons, Gale Atkins III of Marion, Joseph Atkins of Wytheville, and Aaron Atkins of Salem; his mother, Marie T. Atkins of Marion; one brother, Stephen G. Atkins of Marion; three grandchildren, Kayla Renee Atkins, Andrew Atkins and Logan Atkins; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 8, at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Marion Boggs officiating. Burial followed in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
Seaver-Brown Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
