AUTO MISHAP VICTIM DIES LAST EVENING
Peter Passanen of Hecla, S. Dak., who was injured in an auto accident Tuesday June 3, passed way at a local hospital at 6:00 o'clock in the evening June 6. The deceased was born in Finland in 1846. He was a retired carpenter, having lived in Hecla and the vicinity for the past 40 years.
Funeral services will be held at the North Savo church, northeast of Frederick Tuesday June 10 at 1:00 o'clock. Rev. Axel Daniels will conduct the services. Interment will be held at Savo cemetery.
Mr. Passanen was well known in the northern part of the county. He leaves no relatives to survive him.
