She was born in Big Ready, Kentucky on December 18, 1931 to the late Elmer Nash and Leavi Whalin Nash. She met the love of her life, Rev. Fred Marshall Clem, and married him on July 12, 1951. Dorothy and Fred have been residents of Keystone Heights for the past 14 years after moving from Bonifay, FL. Dorothy was a homemaker and a pastor's wife for most of her life and a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed painting, working with the community and her church, but most of all she loved babysitting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Roger, Delbert, and Floyd Nash; and her sisters, Lorene Clifton, Gladys Hall, and Norma Jean Marcom.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 63 years, Fred Marshall Clem of Keystone Heights, FL; her children, Marsha Diane Komarnicki of Keystone Heights, FL, Deborah (John) Stottele of Lincoln Park, MI, Rebecca Clem of Holland, MI, and Christine Bogle of Keystone Heights, FL; her brother, Jerry Nash of Mitchell, IN; her sister, Joyce King of Mitchell, IN; her 10 grandchildren; and her 4 great grandchildren with 1 on the way.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Church of the Nazarene in Starke with Rev. Mike Meek, Dr. Orville Jenkins, and Rev. Deborah Stottele officiating.
Interment will follow at Keystone Heights Cemetery at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends, Monday, July 1, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Archie Tanner Funeral Services.
