His parents were Horace and Rose (Lalonde) Fleury, they came from Essex Belle River Ontario ,he had around seven other syblings in his family , I hope I am right on this Grandpa , I think your syblings were ,Adolphine (Dolphus),Rosallie,Alfred,Roseana,Marie Elmire,Matilda,Marie Alice Beatrice, and then my grandpa David Charles Joseph Fleury, and ,Marie Theresa Victoria Fleury.
Irene and David Fleury had 5 children , my dad, Leonard Joseph, Bernice,Russel,Bertha, and Donald. Of the 5 children only one sybling is still with us here, and he is Donald the youngest.
Every time Grandma would have a baby her and Grandpa would cross over into Detroit so their children would be born U.S.A. citizens. And eventually they moved to Detroit to live and became citizens themselves.
Grandpa would love to fish he would go out on Uncle Russel's boat with him and fish alot.
Whenever there was a barbecue over at our Aunt Bernice's or our house or their house , everyone would play Eucre , a card game I assumed was played alot in Canada, anyway the older family would talk alot of French Canadian during those card games and all of us cousins, and there were alot , wouldnt be able to understand what they were talking about . I always like to hear them talking that way tho.I miss that and miss you too Grandpa, He loved Dachund dogs , as did my dad also.
