Marilyn Soper Heacock, 76, of Devlin Manor, Cumberland and formerly of Baltimore died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at the nursing home. Born on April 27, 1937 in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late Charles Earl Wilson and Bertha Belle (Ferguson) Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Glen Heacock in 2008 and a son, Glenn Keith Heacock.

Marilyn was a member of the Violetville United Methodist Church, Baltimore.

She is survived by two children, Brian Mark Heacock and Dawn Lynn Stubler; five grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Brian, Michael and Gunnar; two sisters, Elva Chahulski and Verna Kasarda; two brothers, Carroll Wilson and Scott Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews.

At her request she was cremated and a memorial service will be held in Baltimore at a later date. Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing handled the arrangements.
