Thomas J. Armstrong died at his home in Galesburg, April 15, 1881 in his 34th year. Burial from the Congregational church of Wataga, April 17, Rev. Wm. R. Butcher, assisted by Rev. A. Hyde of Galesburg. Burial Wataga cemetery. Survivors, wife and children, Nellie, Roy and Mary. They are one of the oldest families of the township. His brother, William was present from Terre Haute, Indiana.
