Garnetta Louise Boyce, 60, of Piney Run Community, Fairmont, passed away Wednesday (June 19, 2013) at Fairmont General Hospital.
She was born in Fairmont on Aug. 25, 1952, a daughter of the late Wayne and Irene (Ferrell) Hilling.
Garnetta was a loving homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Donald Lee Boyce of Fairmont; three sons, Timothy Lee Boyce and his wife Mary of Fairmont, Tylan Boyce and his wife Jacqui of Fairmont, and Bryant Boyce and his fiancée Jerezza of Pittsburgh; and three grandchildren, Mary Ellen Louise Boyce, Gavin Boyce andAiden Boyce.
Also surviving are four brothers, Gary Ferrell of Fairmont, William Hilling of Fairmont, David Hilling and his wife Connie of Fairmont, and Robert Hilling and his wife Mae of Salem; and one sister, Bessie VanGilder of Kingwood.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Blankenship, on June 14, 2013.
Family and friends may call at Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont, from 5-8 p.m. Friday and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow at Summers Cemetery in Morgantown.
