Age 89, a son of the late Joseph and Alice Boyd Bessetti.

He lived most of his life in Wattsburg where he was founder, owner and operator of T.J. Bessetti and Sons Landscaping & Wood Dealing since 1935. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. He played numerous musical instruments and loved music.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia H. Weber Bessetti, a son Thomas William Bessetti; sisters Ruth Thompson, Bessie Jadon (d 12/12/1996 age 83), Minnie McDivitt, Sue Burger Smith, Pearl Tullio, Beulah Shaeffer, Dorothy Bard, Mary Burton (d 8/25/1995 age 81), and Betty Webster-Smith; brothers Louie Bessetti and Dick Bessetti.

He is survived by daughters Sandra Lowes and husband Thomas of North East, Patricia Swaney of Millcreek and Pearl Kosiorek and husband Stanley of Erie; sons Ronald L. Bessetti and wife Sandra of New Jersey, Richard Bessetti and wife Phyllis of Wattsburg, Gregory Bessetti and wife Becky of Wattsbug, Gordon Bessetti and wife Paula of Wattsburg, Arthur Bessetti and wife Barbara of North East and Gary Bessetti and his fiance Jackie of Erie; a sister Agnes Ebert of Erie; a daughter-in-law Marilyn Bessetti of New Jersey; a brother-in-law Joseph Tullio of Erie; 30 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren; also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Interment Lowville Cemetery.
