Mrs. Doreen Mae Acker, 41, of 3434 NE 35th Place, died Sunday in a hospital. Born in Corvallis, Mrs. Acker had lived in Spokane, Washington, Medford, Eugene and La Grande before moving to Portland six years ago, she was employed at the Dickinson Co.
Surviving are the widower, Donald P.; two sons, Richard Curtis and David Charles, both at home; two brothers, Richard L. Willey of Elkton and John Winter Willey of New York, NY.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Caldwell's Colonial Mortuary with private cremation at Rose private cremation at Rose City Crematorium. The family has suggested that remembrances be in the form of contributions to the Oregon Division of the American Cancer Society.
