CUMBERLAND — FROSTBURG  — Joseph L. Arnone, Sr., 88, of Frostburg, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Born November 27, 1924 in Frostburg to Salvatore Arnone and Jennie (Arnone) Arnone; he is preceded in death by parents; a son, Sammy Arnone; four brothers, Anthony, Michael, Victor, and John; two sisters, Emma Fiumara and Susan Greco.

Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Deacon Harold Bradley officiating.

Internment will be private (family only) in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone.

Military honors will be accorded by Old Rail Post 6025 VFW Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be directed to the Allegany County Special Olympics, 218 Shaw St., Frostburg, MD 21532.
