Mrs. Susan McElwee Dies at Silkworth
Mrs. Susan McElwee, 83; widow of Cornelius McElwee, died at 4:30 yesterday afternoon at her home at Lake Silkworth, following several weeks illness of general debility.
Mrs. McElwee spent her early girlhood days in Rhode Island and came to this section when a young woman. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Lake Silkworth, and the Sacred Heart Society.
Surviving are these children, Margaret and Rose, Philadelphia; James, Brooklyn, N. Y.; Aloysius, West Nanticoke, and Mrs. Joseph Genewski, at home. Her husband preceded her in death in May, 1934.
