"Allan Clark was born September 24, 1884 in Wisconsin, and died December 28, 1921, at his home near Watonga, age 78 years, 7 months, and 2 days.
He was married May 9th, 1869 to Miss Cornelia Connick, at Martin county, Minnesota. To this union were born 6 children, Howard Clark, Watonga; Gilbert Clark, Fay; Mrs. Trissa West, Fay; Mrs. Jula Busler, Fay; Herbert Clark of Kansas. One son, Vernie with his mother, having passed on before.
Later he married Mrs. Abbie J. Grant July 21st, 1892, at Staton, Nebraska. To this union were born 3 children, Dewey Edward Clark, Watonga; Mrs. Charlie Trim, Fay; one daughter, Mrs. Obie Baird, having preceded him to the better world.
These with his step-children, Mrs. Buy Baird, of Wantonga, Mr. Lewis Grant, of Fay and Clifford Grant, of California survive him.
He was a loving husband and kind father. He united with the "Faith" church 16 years ago and lived a faithful member until his death.
