Mrs. Maria G Sgambelluri, 72 widow of Vincent Sgambelluri, died at the Meriden Hospital this Morning after a long illness.
Born in Siderno, Calabria, Italy, she has been a resident of Meriden for The past 16 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church.
She is survived by a son. Dominick Sgambelluri of Meriden, three grandchildren, one brother, Joseph Macri, of Long Island: two sisters in Italy, one niece, Mrs. Ida D'Agostino of Meriden and several nephews.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. from the Smith Funeral Home, 226 West Main St and at 9 at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church.
