Elva L. Bolla, 82, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on Monday January 10th, 2011 at Warren Hospital. Born: on July 10, 1928 in Lopatcong Twp., NJ, she was a daughter of the late John and Elsie Williams Sacks. Personal: Elva was employed by JT Baker Chemical and the Pohatcong School District.She was a 1945 graduate of Phillipsburg High School. Memberships: She was a member of Pilgrim Presbyterian Church in Phillipsburg.An avid golfer, Mrs. Bolla was a former member of the Oak Hill Golf Club in Holland Twp., NJ. Her husband the late Frank Bolla, who died in 2005, was a founding member of Oak Hill. Elva did have a hole-in-one at the club many years ago. Survivors: Survivors are her daughter, Nancy L. Brown of Easton; and her son, John F. Bolla and his wife Terri of Perrineville, NJ; grandsons are Brian and David Bolla, and Christopher Brown; her great-granddaughter is Fiona Brown. Preceding her in death were her sister and brothers Clea, John, Albert and Orville.
