Christian's worn marker looks to say year of death either 1838 or 1858 aged 76 years. The area of the cemetery would suggest 1858, but the style of marker is more consistent with 1838.
UPDATE
Trinity Interment record earlier December listing, say, ''about 78 years old''
There are at least 2 good possibilities for Christian Engelhart's listed in passenger records. One to Baltimore in 1848, but a more likely [with D.C. connections] arrived much earlier with 4 children in 1817-'18. Those buried in this grouping [6 in all] are Robert [Civil War d aprx 1894] & John b 1833, John's wife and a few grandchildren.
There is a ''Caroline'' listed in the 1860 census connected to this family b 1778 or so, which may be the wife of Christian ?, however I see no evidence of any other markers in this grouping.
