Alice Jones Findeisen, 92, of Richlands, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2013.
She retired from Onslow Memorial Hospital where she was a receptionist. She was a member of the Union Chapel Christian Church. Mrs. Findeisen greatest joy was her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Findeisen Jr.; and parents, Paul Jones, Molly McGowan Jones.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18 at Onslow Memorial Park with the Rev. Charles Pollock officiating.
She is survived by her sons, James Richard "Dickie" Findeisen III of Richlands, Billy Forrest Findeisen of Richlands, Randy West Findeisen and wife Dawn of Jacksonville; daughters, Ann F. Marshburn and husband Merwin of Jacksonville, Jane F. Jones and husband Paul of Richlands, Jeannette F. Ervin and husband Byron of Richlands, Kim F. Hoffman and husband Ed of Swansboro; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 17 at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville and other times at the home, 239 Koonce Fork Rd., Richlands.
