Spc. Dwayne W. Flores, 22, of Sinajana, Guam died May 16, in Kabul, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with a vehicle borne improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 294th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Fort Juan Muna, Guam. Dwayne is the son of Leonard and Eva Flores. "Doink" of Afame, Sinajana was called to his eternal life on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the age of 22. Mass of Intention & Rosary is being offered at Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica in Hagåtña. Tuesday 6:30pm Rosary, Wednesday and Thursday 6:00pm Mass followed by the 6:30pm Rosary. Last Respects for Dwayne will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica in Hagåtña. Mass for Christian Burial will be offered at 1:00pm with burial to follow at the Pigo Catholic Cemetary in Anigua where we will bid him a farewell and peaceful rest.
