Elizabeth Toots Adden Andrews - Orangeburg

Elizabeth "Toots" Adden Andrews, 92, of Orangeburg died Friday morning, Oct. 31, 2008, at the Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Nov. 2, at Orangeburg Lutheran Church with Rev. Garry White officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Andrews was born Nov. 28, 1915, in Orangeburg, a daughter of the late John A. Adden and Mary Elizabeth Heggie Adden. She was a 1932 graduate of Orangeburg High School. Mrs. Andrews attended Winthrop College and completed a business certificate at Newberry College in 1935. She was a member of Orangeburg Lutheran Church. Mrs. Andrews was the widow of Norman Edgar Andrews.

Survivors include daughter, Ruth Dalton Andrews Derrick and husband Hal of Fairfax, Va.; Norman Edgar Andrews and wife Fran of Sandy Run; grandchildren, Susan Dalton Derrick of Baltimore, Md. and Tommy Derrick of Washington, D.C.; brothers, Jack (Mary) Adden, Orangeburg and Bobby (Sue) Adden of Charleston.

Dukes-Harley Funeral Home in Orangeburg is in charge of arrangements.
