Chester W Aarts 84 of Kenosha died at his residence on Monday (Sept 7 1998) Born in Kenosha on Jan 22 1914, he was the son of the late William andr Ardella (Schaueffel) Aarts He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. During World War II he served in the Army as an airplane mechanics technician. On June 2 1962 he married Ruth Woollard Miller in Milwaukee. She died in 1972. On March 8 1974 in Kenosha he married Leone Bose Bydalek. She died on July 12 1992. He was a supervisor for the tool and die department at American Motors for 37 years. He also owned the Aarts Mink Farm. He was a member of St Sebastian's Church in Sturtevant, the Kenosha Yacht Club , the Senior Citizen's Choir of Kenosha, the Eagles Club BPOE 702 in Kenosha and 9319 in Waukegan Ill, Disabled American Veterans 76860, North Shore Mink Breeders Association, US Coast Guard Auxiliary, Good Sam Travel Club, American Legion Post 21 and the US Power Squadron where he was the past commander. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, rug making and yachting on the Great Lakes. Surviving are two stepsons Joseph Bydalek of Huntsville Texas and Frank L Bydalek of Kenosha a stepdaughter Kathleen Lester-Ross of Kansasville, nine grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson Steven M Bydalek in 1996. Bruch Funeral Home is serving the family.
