PHILLIP A BEESON JR., 91 of Medina, Ohio passed on Saturday, April 20, 2013. He was born in Myersdale, PA. to Phillip and Alma (nee Housel) but spent most of his life in Akron, Ohio.

Phillip was in the 3 Cs as a young man then enlisted in the US Navy where he served as a radioman on the U.S.S. Jobb in the South Pacific from 1942-1946.

Upon returning home, he married his childhood sweetheart, Jane Jones (deceased).

He retired from Ohio Bell after 35 years of service but remained active in the "Pioneers" and the Masonic Community.

Phillip was the dear brother of Ann Kolad, Barbara Boden (deceased) and numerous half sisters and brothers. He is survived by his daughter Jean Rao (Dr. L.C.).

Phillip owned an RV and loved to travel all over the country but he especially loved Arizona in the winter. He was very active most of his life and enjoyed camping, fishing and woodworking. Phillip rarely complained. He was always smiling and was a joy to all who knew him.
