Mrs. Mary Ellen Ausbury, whose maiden name was Lamb, was born in Scotland township, August 19, 1856. She was married January 25, 1877, to Anthony W. Ausbury, who survives her. She lived in this vicinity for many years, then moved to Scotland township, going from there to Macomb about nine years ago.
Besides her husband, she is survived by six children - Roy W., of Macomb. Mrs. Elva Butcher and Arthur Ausbury, of this township; Mrs. Ethel Taylor, of near Macomb; Fred of Peoria, and Gerald, of Chicago.
Deceased had been a member of the Christian church at this place for many years and was also a member of Industry Rebekah lodge. (Industry Press, Sept. 27, 1923)
