Son of John Wilson and Ida(Allman)Hall

Mr.Hall was preceded in death by his wife,Ora (Jenkins)Hall;two sons, Jerald, and Kenneth "Dinky",and a Grandson, Kenny Hall.
Survivors include: One son Marvin E.(Louise)Hall of Kensett;one daughter,Marie(William)Shirley of Heber Springs;one brother Herman(Edna)Hall of Pace,MS.10 grandchildren,12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, other relatives and many friends.

My Dad was a fun-loving man.He played guitar(just around the house),would rather go fishing than eat when he was hungry, and spent a lot of time playing dominoes at the local pool hall. Many times he and I would go gathering berries (while Mom watched my kids.) We would climb the mountain picking huckleberries and be so caught up in the job that we'd find ourselves a mile or two from home before we knew it.
He and Mom did a lot of fishing together when they were able.
After Mom died he started going dancing and loved every minute of it... and before his health got so bad,he and I spent a lot of time going to yard sales,etc...but mostly we fished.Sometimes in the really hot part of summer we'd go to Greers Ferry Lake and sit and fish(didn't matter if we caught anything)and listen to the sailboats swaying in the wind and sounding like windchimes. It was very soothing and we stayed pretty cool there by the water. It was really terrific.. those times that we DID catch fish!! I really miss my fishing Buddy.

NOTE: I would like to say a very special(and heartfelt) "Thank you" to Steve Edquist~Angels Flower Garden~ for sponsoring this memorial page for my Dad. What a really nice thing to do!
