Giovanna "Jenny" Palladino of Newburgh entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 8, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh. She was 63 years old.
The daughter of the late Giovanni and Sandina Palladino, she was born on November 20, 1949 in Cardile, Italy. Giovanna worked for American Felt Company in New Windsor and Adams Fairacre Farms in Newburgh.
Survivors include her siblings: Giuseppe and his wife Maria Palladino of Newburgh, Nicola and his wife Marsha Palladino of Newburgh, Angelo Palladino of Newburgh, Adele and her husband Benito Ventre of Secaucus, NJ, Congetta, Olinda, and Maria of Italy; her nieces and nephews for whom she was like a second mother: Giovanni and his wife Christie Palladino of Newburgh, Sandina and her husband Thomas Nafey of Wallkill, Lorella Palladino and Fiancé Kris Bloomer of Newburgh, Daniela and Irena Palladino of Newburgh, Nichole and Vittoria Palladino of Newburgh, Alex and Doris Ventre of Secaucus, NJ, Donato Ventre of Secaucus, NJ, Christian Brunett of Newburgh, and many more in Italy; her great-nieces and nephews: Gabriella and Giuseppe Palladino and Liam and Kaleigh Nafey.
In addition to her parents was predeceased by her sister Giuseppina Palladino of Italy.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 11 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, April 12 at Sacred Heart Church . Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
