Loretta Becker, 97, formerly of Campbellsport, a resident of Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lomira, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at the home.
She was born near Lamartine on Oct. 5, 1903, the daughter of John J. and Anna Dreikosen Kedinger.
On June 27, 1923, she married Leo J. Becker at St. Mar's Catholic Church, Lomira. E preceded her in death on April 27, 1965. They farmed together in the Town of Ashford.
She also worked at St. Joseph's Convent in Campbellsport for a number of years. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport, the Christian Women and the Mission Sewing Circle.
Survivors include two sons, James (Valeria) of Campbellsport and Paul C (Ramona) of South Ogden, Utah; a daughter, Rosemary (Alois) Volm of Milwaukee; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great0-great-grandchldren; a brother, John Kedinger Jr. of Oakfield; and a sister, Ann Lohf of Milwaukee.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Milton, a sister, Rose Ries; and two brothers, William and Paul.
Services: A Mass of Christin Burial will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb 14, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Campbellsport. The Rev. Francis Malloy will officiate and burial will be Thursday at the parish cemetery.
Visitation: Visitation will be at the church from 4 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the services.
Memorials may be directed to the St. Matthew's Debt Retirement Fund.
