Betty Mae Armstrong, 89, a Rushville resident, passed away in Rushville on March 30, 2013.

She was born on November 30, 1923 in Glenwood, IN. to Loys & Blanch (Cramer) Rees. Betty Mae was a 1940 graduate of Mays High School. She married Harold E. "Tates" Armstrong on March 25, 1951 and he preceded her in death in July of 1974.

Betty Mae was a bank teller many years at Fayette Bank & Trust in Connersville. She was a member of the Ben Davis Creek Christian Church and the Beta Tau Sorority of Connersville.

She is survived by her daughter, Becky & husband Peter Sullivan of Wichita, KA., sisters, Ruthester Shepler of TN. and Karen & husband Edward Gravitt of AL., 3 grandsons also survive.

In addition to her parents & husband, Betty Mae was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.

Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 6 at the Ben Davis Creek Christian Church. Friends are welcome to visit at the church from 9:30 AM until time of service on Saturday. Howard Bullard will preside & burial will be in the Ben Davis Creek Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ben Davis Creek Christian Church.
