The funeral of Mr. Jimmy Lee Myers was held Monday 20, 1974, at Frank Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Myers died Sunday morning May 19, at the Palemon Gaskin Nursing Home, following a long illness. The burial was in the Whitley Cemetery.
Mr. Myers was a native of Irwin County, born July 25, 1909. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion D. Myers. Mr. Myers was a retired school bus driver for the Irwin County School system and a retired employee of Tankersley Oil Company. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Vasthi Royal Myers of Ocilla; one daughter; a brother Waldo Myers of Athens; a sister, Mrs. Fred C. Davis of Warner Robins and 3 grandchildren.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
