Little LorRaine Keefer was holding her older brother Donald's hand while walking down the street in front of 1772 Sherman Place San Diego Ca., just a few doors away from their home, when she let go of his hand and ran out in front of a Cadillac and was mortally injured. LorRaine was 1 year 10 months and 13 days old when she died. Pearl, my grandmother kept her doll in a drawer and gave it to me years later. LorRaine was my Aunt. She did not have a grave marker until this August 2006, thanks to collections made at reunions and a check from my Dad, Gary. LorRaine's surviving siblings include Donald, Joyce, Shirley and Gary.
