MILDRED P. KENNEDY
MILFORD, CONN. - Mildred P. Kennedy, 88, of Bridgeport Avenue, Milford, Conn., wife of the late Allona I. Kennedy, died Dec. 15, 1993, at Midiplex of Southern Connecticut, after a long illness. She was born in Moro, Me., June 15, 1905, the daughter of Charles and Margaret Taylor Mitchell. She was a 45 year resident of Milford. She was formerly employed at the Milford Yacht Club; a former writer of short stories for the Saturday Evening Post of New York and also Readers Digest. She had been active in the Milford Senior Citizens. She is survived by two sons, Elden Kennedy of East Millinocket and Theodore "Ted" Kennedy of Englewood, Fla.; six grandchildrem, 14 great-grandchildre; two brothers, Donald Mitchell of Milford, Conn. and JOhn Mitchell of Bangor; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Desmond Kennedy. Services will take place 8:30 a.m. Monday from the Cody - White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, at 9 a.m. Interment will be in King's Highway Cemetery, Milford.
