MRS JOHN ALEC

Mrs John Alec of the Main Road, Cutchogue, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 25th, at 67 years of age. Mrs Alec had been recovering from an illness when her condition took a turn for the worse and she died very suddenly. Mrs Alec had benn a resident of Cutchogue for 48 years.

Besides her husband, John Alec, she is survived by five sons: Frank and Henry of Riverhead; Joseph of Detroit, MI; and Connie and George of Cutchogue; four daughters, Mrs Joseph Notarangelo of Bergenfield, NJ; Mrs Julian Fiedler of Greenport, Mrs Eugene Gagen of Southold and Mrs Robert Evans of Boston, MA, and a sister, Mrs Victoria Kozak. There are seven grandchildren.

A high requiem mass was offered at Our Lady of Ostrabrama Church in Cutchogue on August 28th by the pastor, Rev Francis G Makowski, as celebrant. Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cutchogue, under the direction of Leonard & Rogers.
