Miles Micya, 93, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at St. Joseph Village of Manhattan.

Mr. Micya was born Sept. 12, 1911, at Wilmerding, Penn., the son of Andro and Ennie (Maralovic) Micya.

He was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army, retiring in 1956. He then worked in the shipping department at Fort Riley, retiring in 1976.

He was a member of the Manhattan Elks Lodge, the Pearce-Keller American Legion Post #17 and
the Lee Pierson VFW Post #1786.

He married Alberta Kaiser Feb. 4, 1960, at Junction City. She preceded him in death Feb. 23, 2005.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Fort Riley Post Cemetery at Fort Riley, KS.
