John Barlow, 64, former employee of the Great Northern Railway in Everett, but for the past 36 years a Switchman on the Union Pacific out of Seattle, died from injuries received in an auto accident near Klamath Falls, Oregon, late Thursday.
Mr. Barlow leaves his widow, Hilda, son, Lee Barlow, and brother, Emmett Barlow of Portland, a son, Jack Barlow of Seattle; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Bihlmaier of Carmel, Calif. and Mrs. Helen Cummins of Portland; his mother, Mrs. Anna Thompson of 1912 Twenty-third street; two sisters, Mrs. C. E. Bonnell of 2302 Lombard avenue and Mrs. William Jameson of 4201 Terrace drive and one grandchild survives.
Funeral services for John Barlow will be held at the chapel of Challacombe & Fickle at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. The Reverend C.W. Butterfield will conduct the service. Burial will be in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery.
