She was born Sept. 28, 1928 in New Blaine, AR to Samuel and Mary Housley. Leila known to most as "Al" was a Christian and avid Democrat. She enjoyed OU Football and was an Oklahoma City Thunder Fan. She also enjoyed watching CNN News and fishing. Leila worked for the United States Postal Service most of her working career and retired after 35 years of service. She served as a Postmaster at several of the Oklahoma Stations. Leila had a swimming pool in her backyard and found great pleasure in spending time with her family swimming and having family cook-outs. Leila is survived by 3 children.She is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Buddy, Cotton and Floyd, known as "Buggar. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Lynlee Mae Chapel, 507 E. Main Street, Moore, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, OK.
