Thelma Phelps Margetts, 91, passed away on March 13, 2013 in Murray, Utah. She was born on July 20, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Fred and Eva Phelps. Thelma loved gardening and her home was her castle. She was honored numerous times by Midvale City with home beautification awards. Thelma was a hard headed, strong, opinionated woman with an incredible heart. Survived by her son, Ron (Teresa) Margetts; brother, Jack (Gwen) Phelps; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harvey and brothers, Gene and Joe Phelps. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Rocky Mountain Hospice. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 South Vine Street. www.goffmortuary.com
