Married in 1844 to William Harvey Blackwell
(Sept. 23, 1821-Aug. 3, 1897).

They were the parents of the following
children:
(1) Cyrus Edward (Feb. 1845-Jan. 1923) was
buried in Greenlawn Mem. Park Cemetery in
Newport News (see memorial)
(2) Mary Elizabeth (1847)
(3) William Joseph (Dec.13,1849-Oct.2,1941)
died in Staunton, VA. He married Harriet
Peaco (1860-1930s) and their children were
Eva H. (1890), James F. (1894) and Stuart H.
(1897-1975).
(4) James A. (Mar. 17, 1851-Aug. 8, 1887)
(5) Augusta Virginia (May 29, 1853)
(6) Isaac Clinton (Oct. 20, 1855-Feb. 14,
1899)
(7) John P. (Apr. 23-Aug. 11, 1858)
(8) Luther P. (July 1859-1940s) lived latterly
in Rustburg, Campbell County, Va and likely
died there. He married Lillian R. (d. 1920s)
and they had four children, two living to
adulthood - Layfette Gordon (June 4, 1895-
Oct. 1978) and Ethel A. (Dec. 1897-aft.1940),
both unmarried.
(9) Susan Frances "Fannie" (Feb. 1863-
Sept. 11, 1958) married Wm. Lee Hanger
buried in Greenlawn Mem. Park Cemetery in
Newport News (see memorial)
(10)Caroline Lee "Carrie" (Mar. 9, 1867)
