Dorothy E. Bailey, 94, of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Heartland of Marion.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Sophia (Cox) Spears.
On February 11, 1961 she married Ernest A. Bailey, he preceded her in death in 1971.
Dorothy was a member of Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Marion and retired after twenty years at Marion General Hospital as a ward secretary.
She is survived by a daughter, Wilma Jones, a son, William Adams Jr., nine grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters and a great grandson.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at TV 39 1282 N. Main St. Marion, Ohio with Pastor Jackie Peterson officiating.
Visitation held at the Boyd-born Funeral Home.
