Bridenstine, Larry, 74, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013. He worked at Beech Aircraft for 35 years, before retiring in 2001. Larry loved spending time with his family and friends, and listening to country music. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernis and Ida (Wilhoit) Bridenstine; infant son, David Allen, and sisters Joan Boren, Beverly Graves, and Barbara Vickery. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Ann; son Scott (Allyson) Bridenstine; brothers Clive, Glen, Jack, and Ronald, and sister Marthabelle Howell. A come-and-go visitation with the family will be held 2pm to 4pm, Monday, March 11, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Burial of the urn will be at a later date in Union Center Cemetery, Adams, Okla. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202, and with American Cancer Society, 330 S. Main, Suite 100, Wichita, KS 67202.
