ROGERS, Wayne Leroy Zeitler, 64, of 46985 Riffle Road died at 3 a.m. Wednesday at his home following a brief illness.

Born Dec. 31, 1926 in Lisbon, he was the son of the late Walter David and Alta Reta (Welker) Zeitler.

For the past six months Mr. Zeitler resided in Rogers, coming from Rosemount, Minn., where he lived for 20 years. He had been a national service manager for Thermo King Corp. in the truck and trailer department for 27 years. He attended the East Fairfield United Methodist Church and was a member of Benjamin Firestone Post 200 American Legion of Columbiana. During World War II he served in the Army with the 28th Replacement Battalion.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Jean Jones Zeitler, whom he married Jan. 30, 1946; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Lucinda) Dick of New Waterford, Mrs. Steve (Sally) Klug of Cedarburg, Wisc., Mrs. Randy (Shirley) Bailey of Rosemount, Minn. and Mrs. Verlyn (Susan) Fick of Wahpeton, N.D.; two sons, Wayne Leroy Zeitler Jr. of Minnneapolis, Minn. and David Earl Zeitler of St. Louis Park, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Mae) Mays of Rogers, Mrs. Allan (Shirley) Martin of Lisbon, Linda Black of New Waterford; two brothers, Ernest Zeitler of Columbiana and Raymond Zeitler of Seattle, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Edward Payne Zeitler in 1961.
