Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Robert Meyer with entombment to follow.
She was born Jan. 19, 1925, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Alfred and Martha Folletz Naibert. On March 16, 1946, she married Chester E. Armstrong in Stonington, Mich. He preceded her in death April 7, 1987. Rose retired from the Manitowoc County Social Services Department in 1987.
Survivors include six sons and four daughters-in-law: James J. Armstrong and Diane Brunner, Green Bay; Terry L. and Cathy Armstrong, Nashville, Tenn.; Chester E. and Peggy Armstrong Jr., Newnan, Ga.; Thomas D. and Carol Armstrong, Crivitz; Steve G. and Jean Armstrong, Whitelaw; William R. Armstrong, Sturgeon Bay; two daughters: Penny L. Miles, Green Bay; Ellen A. Barfoot and Ted Anderson, Sturgeon Bay; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Lawrence F. Naibert and Alfred S. Naibert Jr.; a sister-in-law: Delores Naibert; and a special friend, Cheryl Ellerman, all of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Naibert.
The family will greet relatives and fiends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 8 p.m. this Wednesday and Thursday morning at Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
Memorials may be given to Unity Hospice, 916 Willard Drive, Green Bay, WI 54304.
